After few months of analyzing, designing, developing and testing the iRoute modules, we managed to finalize the Alpha prototype of our solution.
The current version has all components of the final solution: the GPS Data module, the Process Data module, the integration module, the route optimization module with the custom adaptive algorithm, the monitoring module of the execution of routes and the web and mobile applications.
We also managed to test our custom algorithm on some relevant customer order sets, with promising results (almost 20% less difference between planned and execution).
In this phase we also disseminated our work to two international conferences were we presented our iRoute architecture and adaptive algorithm.
Next we will continue to fine-tune the features, to better integrate them and prepare the final product for Go-Live next year.
